This saffron grows on the hills of the Piedmontese Apennines, in a completely natural way, without the use of chemicals, in full respect of nature and man.
It takes great care, patience and delicacy to produce saffron. Harvesting is manual and can only take place for a few weeks when the flower blooms. Furthermore, if you think that each flower at only 3 stigmas, you can imagine how much you need to collect to get to a kilo. This makes it one of the most valuable spices.
Use it to season your risotto, shellfish or as decorations.

A bag of 0.3 g is sufficient for a risotto for 5 people.
